Erica Linz – President/Co-Creator/Board Member/Co-Artistic Director
Erica Linz is a tiny juggernaut. Standing 4’11” tall, she is a force to be reckoned with in the fight against pediatric cancer. A background in competitive gymnastics and vocal music led her to theatre, performing her first roles by the age of eight. Erica joined Cirque du Soleil shortly after graduating high school as the “Baby Girl” in Mystère. She eventually joined the cast of KÀ where she performed a beautifully death defying aerial straps duet with her “acrobatic soul mate”. Erica is best known for starring in Andrew Adamson and James Cameron’s 3D film “Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away” released worldwide by Paramount pictures. Erica is now based in Los Angles working as a freelance circus performer and stunt woman. Erica’s passion for helping kids led her to found Cirque du SoBald in 2008 and cofound Circus Couture in 2009 where she remains the driving creative force behind the organization. Erica was honored as Las Vegas’ Most Successful Fundraiser by the San Diego based Classy Awards in 2010 and was recognized as the Person of Outstanding Compassion by LA's Century of Compassion. Erica doesn’t believe in sleeping much, but believes firmly in people. She learned from her parents that kindness is contagious, has found passion to be invaluable, and feels that being “part of the solution” is best of all.
